Our Founders

Matt Eaton is the co-founder of The Bodhi Tree Group LLC and has over 18 years of experience in broadcast technology and operations, including implementing enterprise content management systems, managing commercial TV on-demand operations, and leading complex IT initiatives.

Prior to founding The Bodhi Tree Group, Matt held several senior positions within media organizations, most notably as Head of Operations for Virgin Media’s OnDemand TV service.  Matt holds an Executive MBA from Ashridge Business School in the UK, where he achieved an overall distinction.

Media companies face a daunting array of challenges when it comes to content management in the non-linear world.  Matt’s practical approach to improving operations, his experience implementing technology and new business processes, and his deep understanding of the wider business drivers has helped many clients over the years.  He has led projects improving content operations across the entire supply chain, from rights acquisition through to delivery onto consumer devices.

A dual-citizen of the UK and US, Matt has broad international management experience, having worked on projects in North and South America, Europe, Australia, and Asia.  Despite being based in Florida, Matt still enjoys a cup of Yorkshire tea and encourages his two sons to play cricket!

Hope Eaton is the co-founder of The Bodhi Tree Group, LLC and has over 15 years of experience in the media and broadcast industry including product development of multiple rights management systems, project management, consulting on IT and process change initiatives, and training.    She has led project across the entire content value chain, from rights acquisition through to consumption.

Prior to founding The Bodhi Tree Group, Hope was the Director of a media broadcast technologies consultancy providing strategic advice to companies including IMG Media, WDTVI, and BSkyB.  Before that, she was responsible for global Product Marketing of an Intellectual Property Rights Management system at Lysis, a subsidiary of the Kudelski Group.  Hope began her career working as a training and technical media manager based in Denver and Dallas.   Hope holds a BS from Tulane University and a MA from Louisiana State University.

The business of managing content is undergoing numerous separate yet parallel innovations that content owners, broadcasters, platforms and device and software vendors must address.   While business processes and technology are often the focus of content management change initiatives, corporate culture and people are often left out of the equation.  As a result, these projects fail to deliver sustainable change.  Hope combines her in-depth industry knowledge and experience implementing technology and new business processes with her background and skills in training and development to ensure that the people and culture are not forgotten in projects.
